Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, is a city away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where the nature is soothing, but in fact the railroad situation is a bit inconvenient. The only station in the city is on the Hankyu Minoh Line, which runs through the western part of the city. The city has a railroad line which runs through the western part of the city, and it is a long distance to Senri-Chuo Station on the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line, which is connected to the Midosuji Line. The Kita-Osaka Express line is now being extended.
The Kita-Osaka Kyuko Line opened in 1970 to coincide with the Osaka World Exposition. The idea of extending the line from Senri-Chuo Station had been a long-cherished wish of Minoh City for about 50 years.
