Real Estate Sales

The March Report was publish on March 23, 2020 for the real estate sales for the month of February 2020. The data includes the average price per square meter for listings in the Kansai region in one data set. The Kansai region includes Wakayama, Osaka, Nara, Hyogo, Kyoto, and Shiga Prefectures. 

Data for Real Estate Sales will not included new construction.

The data from February on out should be interesting to analyze considering the global pandemic we are all working through together.
Considering the first confirmed case in Japan was documented on January 16th.

  2. House Sales
  3. Land Sales

Sub categories will include units sold and the number of new listings on the market.

Recap

Should be interesting to see the affects on home sales from here on out. Prime Minister Abe has declared a State of Emergency for seven prefectures, with Osaka and Hyogo being included in the seven (Kansai Region).

Also with the immigration ban which started back in March and the taking full effect April 1st, we shall continue to monitor, observe, and analyze the coming months.
